2011 'Christmas Tree Lighting'
The 2011 Waterdown BIA 'Tree Lighting Festival'
was a resounding success.
Held on Saturday November 19th, at the Sobeys Plaza, from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m.
close to 500 attended, from the Village and surrounding area.
We thank our sponsors, Sobeys, Tim Horton and the Jitterbug Cafe
for their generous donations...
The Sobeys team prepared and gave out over 900 hot dogs as well as hot cyder.
Tim Horton provided hot chocolate and the Jitterbug Cafe donated lip smacking brownies!

Toys for 'HAMILTON CITY KIDZ'
 
Thanks to the generosity of the residents of Flamborough and
Waterdown, the BIA collected dozens of toys and was able to help a
number of children in Hamilton have a present this Christmas.
The BIA presented the toys to Supt. Warren Korel at Station 30 - Hamilton
Hamilton 'CITY KIDZ' will distribute them to kids in Hamilton.
Events
Free Horse & Wagon Rides, around the plaza, began at 3 until 6 p.m.
The program starting at 4:00 p.m....
First the Waterdown High School Band...
Followed by a Magical Presentation a Dance performance
and then the Community Church 'KidVox' Choir.
Santa arrived at 5:30 & the Tree lighting was at 6:00 p.m.

the first two weeks of
September 2012...
‘A Taste of Waterdown’
A fixed Price and Menu dining experience.
For a fixed price, at each participating restaurant, you will receive an appetizer,
your entree as well as desert. Gratuities and Alcoholic beverages are extra.
(Reservations are recommended)
The event dates are over a two week period...
Monday September 3rd to Thursday September 6th...

Monday September 10th to Thursday September 13th...
